Dear Friend,
July 2010
Around here, our summers brim with festivals and events. And this summer is no exception. It's overflowing with historic milestones, theatre festivals and visits from literary giants. And one thing's for sure: no matter where you find yourself in this rugged, lovely place this summer, you'll be exactly where you want to be.

Cupids 400

This year, we're celebrating Cupids 400th Anniversary as the first English colony in Canada. Cupids 400 is hosting dramatic performances, riveting yarns and family events. Don't miss the Marquee Event: Cupids Cove Soiree, happening August 17th-22nd.

On Stage.
Here, spectacular sights aren't limited to our landscapes and shorelines. You'll also find some of the best theatre this country has to offer, right here in this province. Check out the Grand Bank Regional Theatre Festival for music, comedy and drama. And then head further west to Norstead Theatre for a Viking themed dramatic performance.

Summer Reads
Tucked away in Eastport, you'll find one of Canada's best and most intimate cultural events: Winterset in Summer. Come listen to and meet renowned authors and songwriters like Linden MacIntyre, Margaret Atwood and Kevin Major, between August 11-14 at the Beaches Heritage Centre.
